We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Montessori Teacher to join a fully staffed UHNW family on a permanent, live-out basis to create a rich, child-led learning environment for a 7-year-old girl to help fulfil her potential socially, emotionally and academically. The family are based in Dubai, but also have two properties in the UK (one in London and one in the countryside) where they spend 4-6 months per year, as well as travelling to the USA for business.

The family are looking for an energetic educator who would be responsible for designing and delivering a daily curriculum at home and during travels that embraces a holistic education approach, including behavioural elements of the child’s development. The little girl is highly intelligent, playful, and musical with a great sense of humour and the teacher would be expected to research and take her to appropriate external classes and activities, including music, sports, and languages.

The little girl has a nanny who is responsible for bathing, dressing and other childcare duties, but the successful candidate would be expected to assist with these childcare duties on the nanny’s days off. The ideal candidate would already be based in Dubai and have their own accommodation, a private bedroom with en-suite bathroom and all expenses will be provided in the UK residences and whilst travelling. Being able to speak Arabic is essential for this role. The role would be 5 days a week, around 35 hours per week with 2 days off.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
• Developing and implementing a rich curriculum and daily/weekly program
• Creating a nurturing, stimulating and fun educational environment
• Instilling good manners and a sense of responsibility
• Ensuring that meals and snack are nutritious (food preparation not a requirement)
• Organising and implementing educational and fun outings
• Promoting self-care and hygiene
• Assist with childcare, bathing, and dressing on the Nanny’s day off
• Extensive travel with the family

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• At least 5 years of previous teaching at pre-school/foundation stage institutions
• Experience with home-schooling and caring for toddlers
• Degree in early childhood education and development (Montessori/Waldorf preferred)
• Current first aid and CPR certification
• Excellent, verifiable references
• Good health and non-smoker
• Dependable, honest, and trustworthy
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean background check
• Well spoken English and Arabic
• Right to work in the UAE and travel without restrictions
