HOUSEHOLD ALL-ROUNDER/MANAGER FOR UHNWI IN NYC

We are currently recruiting for a superstar Household All-Rounder/House Manager with an exceptional eye for detail, strong work ethic and flexible, can-do attitude to support an UHNWI in their part-time residence in NYC. Responsible for the management and cleanliness of this luxury Upper East Side apartment, the ideal candidate will be incredibly organized and able to work autonomously, as well as confident in their ability to liaise with vendors and suppliers and managing household budgets and payments.

Taking responsibility for the upkeep of this luxury property in the client’s absence, as well as providing a seamless service to the principal when they are in residence, flexibility is imperative for this role, as is a professional, positive attitude and a friendly disposition. As an experienced household professional, you will have excellent knowledge of how to care for luxury furnishings and surfaces and have a good understanding of the use of appropriate cleaning products. A hands-on role, duties will include laundry and ironing, making beds, cleaning, and organization of all areas in the apartment, as well as the care of artwork and other valuables.

Other duties will include personal shopping and errand running, light PA/concierge duties such as making restaurant reservations, and liaising with the principal’s wider team, so having brilliant interpersonal and communication skills are essential. A live-out role, you will be a driver with a full, clean US driving license and live within a commutable distance from the Upper East Side.

Due to the principal not being in residence full-time, working hours are not set in stone and the ability to offer flexibility to work more hours when they are in residence and less hours when they’re not in residence is of essence for this role. When in residence, the principal would also require the candidate to cook, so the role would suit someone who is adept in the kitchen and happy to follow recipes. The principal is looking to appoint a switched on, well presented and professional candidate to remain with them long-term.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and entertainment areas
• Laundry and ironing, including caring for fine fabrics
• Managing stocks of cleaning products and groceries
• Maintaining inventories and managing the household budget and payments
• Meeting and greeting any visitors and guests
• Liaising with suppliers, vendors, and tradesmen to oversee any maintenance works, installations etc. in the apartment
• Admin duties such as scheduling appointments, making restaurant reservations, booking taxi’s, diary management etc.
• Liaising with the principal’s wider team (in other locations)
• Preparing meals for the principal when in residence (following recipes)
• Errand running and personal shopping

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior housekeeping experience in a high-end household
• Good level of spoken English and eligibility to live in the USA
• Living locally and having your own private accommodation and reliable transport
• Full, clean US driving license
• Hardworking, dedicated, trustworthy and reliable
• High attention to detail and very organized
• Tech savvy and a brilliant communicator
• Flexibility with hours and duties
• Able to work independently with little supervision
• Brilliant checkable references
