DECKHAND/CARPENTER NEEDED FOR A 95m MOTOR YACHT CURRENTLY IN THE SOUTH PACIFIC
Start Date: 17th June 2023
Schedule: Currently in South pacific with extensive cruising planned.
World cruising for the foreseeable
We are looking for a deckhand with a solid carpentry background.
The deck is made up of a Bosun and six deckhands, several of which have additional skills.
There is already a deck carpenter on board, but the vessel would like an additional deckhand with carpentry skills due to our itinerary. The candidate needs to be happy to work with the current carpenter and adapt his style to match the existing system. Organization and inter-department cooperation skills required.
Positive, outgoing and a “can-do” attitude. Excellent presentation – minor tattoos accepted.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION
- STCW/ENG1
- French Schengen required if non-EU/UK (Please do not apply if you do not meet this)
- B1/B2 beneficial
- 1 year longevity in a similar role on vessels 60m+
- Experience on charter vessels is advantageous.
- Carpentry background and proven ability
- Knowledge of paints and varnish repair works
PACKAGE:
- Salary DOE
- Annual increase in place
- Discretionary 13th month
- Training policy in place, 1 year employment required.
- 90 days leave per year, not rotational, leave is given to suit vessel operations.
