CHIEF OFFICER NEEDED FOR A 40m NEW BUILD MOTOR YACHT

 

Start Date: August 2023

Schedule: Italy (Yard) - Caribbean - Singapore

 

An exciting opportunity is now open for an experienced Chief Officer to join a new build 40m Motor Yacht. Minimum one years’ experience as Chief Officer, Mini or Full ISM knowledge, proven leadership skills, excellent navigation, and bridge watchkeeping ability. Previous new-build experience would be a real advantage.

The right candidate will need to be self-motivated and help put together a superb new deck team. The candidate needs to possess a fun but professional personality, be keen to help juniors progress their skills, be an inspirational leader and team player. Proven longevity would be preferred. Fluent English (spoken and written) essential.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION

-               Chief Mate CoC

-               STCW/ENG 1

-               GMDSS

-               Designated Security Duties certificate

-               ECDIS

-               Clean full driving license

 

ADVANTAGEOUS ADDITIONAL SKILLS

-               Dive Master or Instructor

-               Water-jet tender experience

-               Windsurfing skills

-               E-foil experience

-               Dinghy sailing

-               Technology skills such as AV / IT

 

PACKAGE

-               6,500 EUR DOE

-               During the build the leave rate will be 35 days per annum, and then on launch it will rise to the 90 days per annum based on a 3 on :1 off ratio.
