ASST. SPA RECEPTIONIST IN LUXURY RES. DEVELOPMENT
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Spa and Wellbeing Attendant/Receptionist to join our client’s luxury property development team in Mayfair. The building features luxury apartments and includes a 25-meter swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna and steam room, treatment rooms, residents’ lounge, and private screening room.
Joining a welcoming team, you will play a key role in delivering a personal, unique, and memorable service to their residents. You will ensure operations are coordinated and run smoothly and efficiently to the highest standards of warm service and hospitality to their residents and guests. You will personally welcome residents and guests and ensure an outstanding experience.
You will need to be an all-rounder and multitasking individual, comfortable greeting high-profile individuals, answering phone calls, and facilitating the rest of the team with anything required. You will demonstrate strong organisation skills whilst being flexible, professional and personable. You should take an enthusiastic and proactive approach to any task and be willing to help wherever needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality, preferably within a spa environment. Working a 9 hour shift, 5 days on with 2 days off on a rota basis.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Opening, closing and coordination of the Leisure facilities (Spa and Treatment rooms, Fitness areas, Screening Room and Lounge areas)
• Maintaining immaculate standards throughout (completion of checklists, housekeeping, cleaning/tidying, stock takes, and restocking and pool tests)
• Maintenance of equipment and reporting issues promptly to the Engineering team
• Giving and receiving handover information at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure effective communication
• Attending team meetings
• Health and safety inductions for residents and monitoring safety and security aspects and taking appropriate action in case of emergency
• Acting as Spa &Wellbeing ambassador/representative at events and on occasions when directed
• Reception duties - Checking and replying in a professional manner to phone calls, e-mails and general enquiries (when appropriate)
• Facilitating any bookings for residents and executing any changes swiftly to reflect the high standards and expectations
• Liaising with external trainers, therapists and other highly qualified specialists and practitioners
• Ensuring complete visitor satisfaction by providing information and services that meet a 5-star experience and anticipating visitors’ needs.
• Ensuring that visitors are comfortable and offer refreshments. May perform beverage service duties
• Taking ownership of all requests and complaints, resolving the issues immediately and efficiently, ensuring a positive outcome. Follow up to ensure the resident’s satisfaction and escalate to the manager when needed
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Applicants should have a minimum of one year’s experience in a similar position within a luxury hospitality environment
• Professional appearance and presentation
• Highly organised with great attention to detail
• Quality-driven with a passion for excellence
• Conscientious with a positive attitude and influence
• Ability to deliver high standards of customer service which is personalised, confident and calm
• Can commit to flexible working hours
• Ability to work as part of a dedicated and passionate team

• Fluent communication skills in both written and verbal English - additional languages would be beneficial
• First Aid and Pool Responder certifications are an advantage
