We have a brilliant opportunity for a dedicated, hard-working and experienced Houseman to undertake a part-time role for a high-net-worth client in Los Angeles. Joining a team of staff, you will be an excellent all-rounder with a can-do attitude and a willingness to assist with different tasks in and around the property, including running errands for the family.

Providing assistance throughout the property and grounds with general maintenance and assisting the other household staff when needed, you will be an integral part of the team and will take care of all exterior cleaning, gardening, and handyman tasks, as well as minor paint touch ups to walls and areas of the house that are scuffed or looking worn.
Duties will include general DIY and handyman tasks, errand running, maintaining equipment and facilities, clean and organise stock and storage areas.

This is a live-out role, the ideal candidate would need to be located not too far from Central Los Angeles. Being available to work early morning, late afternoons and over weekends are of essential importance. DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Regularly clean and look after all outdoor areas of the premises, including regularly sweeping, washing and wiping down, and polishing various areas and picking up trash and yard waste as needed between visits from the gardeners
• Maintain equipment and facilities, such as changing HVAC air filters, replacing light bulbs, cleaning drains and gutters
• Do paint touch ups and wood repairs
• Run errands and shopping in the local vicinity
• Regularly clean and organise stock and storage areas such as garage cabinets and storage rooms and shed
• Perform minor paint touch ups to walls and areas of the house that are scuffed or looking worn - know when to request a professional painter to avoid damaging sensitive surfaces or materials
• Assist with moving or carrying boxes or small and large items
• Build furniture, toys and other purchases

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior experience working in a private household
• Loyalty and trustworthiness; proven longevity in prior roles
• Valid driving licence
• General maintenance and handyman skills
• Professional and boundaried
• Discreet and loyal
• Eligibility to work in the US
• Excellent English and communication skills
• Flexibility and willingness to work weekends, early morning or late evening shifts at times - shifts will vary from week to week
