We are working with a lovely high net-worth family of 5 in Shenley, Hertfordshire to source a highly-skilled, pro-active, and versatile part-time Weekend Housekeeper for their 5-bedroom family home. The ideal candidate will be organised, able to use their initiative and plan ahead. The family have three children (8, 12 and 15 years of age) and three small dogs, so they are looking for a child-friendly and pet-friendly Housekeeper.

The house is a busy home, with lots of people coming and going, but it’s a fun home and environment to be in. They are looking for a housekeeper not only to assist them with the household duties, but to also be a part of their home and family, someone who is looking to stay long term.

The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to help wherever required. The family are lovely to work for and treat their staff exceptionally well, so they are looking for a personable Housekeeper who is able to interact with them and their children and is a pleasure to have around.

Working 2 days a week – Saturday and Sunday for 6 hours per day. The ideal candidate will already be based in the area and available to start immediately.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Daily cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
• Maintain the laundry and ironing
• Care for fine finishings and delicate fabrics
• Cooking light meals occasionally
• Feed the 3 small dogs and let them out in the garden when required
• Ad hoc duties as required

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior housekeeping experience in a high-end private household
• Fluency in English and eligibility to work in the UK
• Hardworking, dedicated and flexible
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Proactive and organised
• Trustworthy and reliable
• DBS check
• Excellent checkable references
