FULL-TIME HOUSEKEEPER/CARER REQUIRED – EAST LONDON
A lovely family of three are looking for an experienced and confident Housekeeper/Carer to assist them in their lovely family home in Wanstead. The family would like a live-out candidate so ideally you should already be based in the area.
Supporting the mother and being her right hand, daily duties will include preparing daily meals for the family, cleaning of the bedrooms, bathrooms and living/dining areas, laundry duties, as well as grocery shopping, running errands as required and helping with medication. You should be house-proud, work quickly but to a high standard and be able to take initiative to get the job done. The female principle is ideally looking for someone who is organised and has a keen eye for detail.
The family are a loving, close knit family and are looking to appoint a like-minded candidate. You should be well presented, professional and discreet, having good communication skills is essential for this role. The family does have dogs, so the ideal candidate would need to be pet friendly.
The work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm. The ideal candidate should have prior carer experience and will have worked in a private household setting in a similar role.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Cooking daily meals for a family of three
• The cleaning and upkeep of all bedrooms, bathrooms, and common rooms
• Laundry and ironing
• Grocery shopping
• Stock management
• Helping with medication
• Organisation of the home
• Ad hoc duties as required
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior housekeeping/carer experience
• Confident in cooking and meal preparation
• Fluency in spoken English
• Hardworking and dedicated
• Good time management and good communication
• Self-motivated and able to work alone and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and exacting standards
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Excellent checkable references
