PROPERTY MANAGER REQUIRED IN CALIFORNIA

We have an exciting new opportunity for a brilliant Property Manager to oversee the daily running and operation of a unique luxury property in California. Working for an amazing new company, you must be a self-starter who is experienced and confident in your ability to set up and put systems into place, liaise at all levels, be very hands-on, and have excellent attention to detail.

Reporting to the Head of Hospitality, you will be the driving force behind the seamless operation and exceptional guest experience, this role demands a dynamic leader who excels in hospitality management, understands the nuances of luxury service, and is adept at strategic planning and day-to-day operations. You will have the ability to oversee all aspects of the property’s operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, staffing, food & beverage, and budgeting to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will be a team player and work in chorus with the Chef, housekeeper, driver, and Hub team to ensure all services are flawlessly executed.

This role is extremely unique and requires someone who is open minded – this high end property will have plenty to offer their guests so having a high level of flexibility is key for this role to ensure high standards are upheld at all times. The company are looking to appoint an experienced and organised House Manager with proven longevity in a similar role. Accommodation will be provided along with daily meals and a benefits package.

DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Oversee the entire operation of the property to ensure excellence in guest services, food quality, cleanliness, and maintenance and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
• Develop and manage the annual budget, including revenue management, expense control, and profitability. Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve financial performance.
• Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team. Conduct quarterly performance evaluations, set strategic goals and implement development plans for staff
• Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest experiences and address guest concerns promptly and with a personalized approach
• Collaborate with marketing to enhance the home’s visibility and reputation. Oversee sales strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue
• Maintain a safe environment for guests and staff - ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations
• Oversee the maintenance of the property and grounds, ensuring all areas are up to luxury standards at all times

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role – either within a private household or a 5* Hotel environment
• Proactive, hands-on, motivated, enthusiastic, personable, organised, strong eye for detail, and well presented
• Proven track record of effectively managing teams, interpersonal relationships, and communicating with diverse High Net Worth individuals
• Practical experience in budget management, including recipe costing and inventory control
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and a willingness to adapt and learn new technologies as required
• Extensive experience in delivering effective training and coaching to teams
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and as needed for events
• Serve Safe Certification, ensuring adherence to food safety standards
• The right to live and work in the United States
