ENGINEER NEEDED FOR VARIOUS HOMES – NORTH LONDON

Our client owns a number of houses in North London and they are looking for a very experience Chief Engineer ideally from a background of private residences, 5* hospitality, facilities management or construction. The perfect Chief Engineer will be a team player with a very competent management style who remains calm and collected under pressure. You will have varied knowledge of all electrical, mechanical, plumbing, swimming pools and the latest technology, as well as being very proficient in IT.

Candidate should have booster pump experience, pool pump/filter experience, an in depth knowledge of AC and air filtration as well as humidity, UFH experience, kitchen appliances competency. Basic joinery would be beneficial but is not essential. You will be flexible to work on many different projects and adaptable to oversee several projects as one time as well as conventional maintenance works. 

Clear and demonstratable experience in maintaining and updating manuals and putting in place top class reporting systems to drive efficiency. You will work and manage 'Rolls Royce' quality finishes in everything that you do. Top quality work will be your default position.

This is a role for a candidate who is able to work effectively on an independent basis, managing 1 maintenance engineer and overseeing a number of contractors. There is real opportunity to grow with the role and take on more responsibility with the clients growing portfolio and construction projects, a long-term role for the right person.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintaining the extremely high standards.
• Working, managing and overseeing both planned and preventative maintenance issues.
• Act as a liaison with suppliers and contractors, providing supervision and technical support.
• Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining a planned preventative maintenance schedule to cover all major systems to ensure that any faults are identified and addressed as soon as possible.
• Hands on with dealing with maintenance issues.
• Efficient problem solving and positive attitude in all that you do with a can-do approach to any of the clients preferences. 
• Ensure that all systems and plant are working as planned
• Working methodically and ensuring all work spaces are kept tidy and tools are well looked after, driving this message and expectation to the team.
• Setting Budgets and recording expenses
• Occasional travel to other UK properties depending on clients location (less than 5 times per year)
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and fire regulations

OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION:
• Clean Driving license
• Highly flexible, on call out of working hours, 5 days per week, 1 day covering the weekend.
• Non-smoker, very presentable.

• Strong Family Values
• Must already reside in the UK (Within daily commuting distance to North London)
