HOUSEKEEPER REQUIRED – UHNW PROPERTY IN KENSINGTON
An ultra-high-net-worth individual is looking for an experienced and hardworking Housekeeper to join an established team of three in their large private property in Kensington which consists of 4 bedrooms, spread across 5 floors. Although the property is large, only two of the five floors are used regularly with the other 3 only needing occasional maintenance.
Your daily duties would be cleaning and tidying the residence, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms, laundry and ironing as well as ad-hoc duties such as dropping off dry-cleaning, going to the post office and anything else the principal may need. You may be required to serve light snacks and drinks on occasion so confidence with service is ideal. You should be house-proud, work quickly but to a high standard and be able to take initiative to get the job done.
The principal is hoping to find a friendly, honest and polite individual and is looking to appoint a candidate who is able to keep the house in an orderly and structured way. You should be proactive, willing to work collaboratively with the existing team and have an exceptional eye for detail. Being a team player with good communication skills is essential for this role. Working hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm with the flexibility to do very occasional evenings and weekend work – time off will be given in lieu. This role is ideally a live-out position, however, for the right candidate the family may consider live-in. If you do choose to live-in, the role will change to 6 days per week.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
- Daily housekeeping and cleaning of the property
- Cleaning and turning over bedrooms
- Occasional food and beverage service
- Liaising with other team members
- Managing all laundry and assisting with wardrobe management
- Flexible approach to tasks and team communication
- Flower arrangements
- Daily morning and evening house set up
- Shopping and ad-hoc duties
- Purchasing household goods
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Prior housekeeping experience
- Fluency in spoken English
- Hardworking and dedicated
- Good time management and good communication
- Self-motivated and able to work alone and in a team
- Well-presented, energetic, and hard-working
- High attention to detail and exacting standards
- Well-presented, professional, and discreet
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Excellent checkable references
- Hair and Beauty training would be advantageous but not essential
If this role sounds of interest and you meet the essential criteria, then please apply within or get in touch to find out more.
