Schedule: Italy (Yard) - Caribbean – Singapore

An exciting opportunity is now open for a Chef on a new build 40m Motor Yacht.
Minimum two years’ experience as Chef on Superyachts, Mini or Full ISM knowledge. Proven longevity and excellent references. Experience provisioning off the beaten track would be beneficial and ability to work within budget. Food hygiene and galley / storerooms cleanliness essential. Ships Cook certificate would be an advantage.

Cuisine styles that candidate must have a flair and love for:
Mediterranean / Greek, Italian (Chinese/Korean a bonus)
Salads/grilled fish/fresh local produce
Desserts
Fresh bread making

Whilst the Owner will normally want fairly simple family style presentation, the Chef will need to be able to step it up for dinner parties and some events when required. He or she will also need to prepare healthy, tasty, and varied crew food.

The right candidate will need to be self-motivated, well-organised and be able to plan ahead. The candidate needs to possess a fun but professional personality and be drama free.
Fluent English (spoken and written) essential.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION
- STCW including PDSD
- ENG 1
- Ships cook certificate (Bonus)
- Food and Hygiene level 3
- Clean full driving license
- Applications are open for Male or Female Candidates

PACKAGE
- Salary 7000 Eur (DOE)
- During the build the leave rate will be 60days per annum, once operational this will change to 180 days paid leave per year. Around 10 weeks on/10 weeks off

- Yearly performance related bonus scheme in place. Good performance will be rewarded by a 1-month salary bonus with increased amounts possible for higher performance.
