DIRECTOR SALES & MARKETING – LUXURY HOTEL GROUP

This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Director of Sales and Marketing from a luxury hotel background to join a well-established and growing luxury hotel and yacht group. Based in Monaco, you will be responsible for the coordination of all sales and marketing activities, to obtain optimum effectiveness of sales processes and maximize profits. This diverse and challenging role will be set to provide an outstanding sales performance to the Company.

 

Responsibilities include:

·         The overall daily management of all sales processes, including all of the activities within sales strategy generation, lead-search & activation, strategic marketing research, clients sourcing and maintenance, media & community relations.

·         Coordinate all aspects of the Sales operations including: creation and/or selection of sales tools and processes, sourcing of clients, creating awareness through media and partners, administrative follow-up of sales results and achievements.

·         Demonstrate outstanding leadership and be able to organise complex projects, and establish priorities consistent with the group’s objectives.

 

Skills required:

·         Extremely well connected with global UHNWI: Able to meet with prospective customers and act upon active sales leads efficiently.

·         Discretion: Need to be circumspect about details of customer’s bookings.

·         Insider knowledge: Understands HNWI booking patterns and can pro-actively use this knowledge to generate sales

·         Prior experience of luxury hotel sector: Understands the specificities of the

·         Luxury Industry and can creatively use this knowledge to create “out of the box” effective sales tools.

·         Impeccable sense of style: Reflects positively on the group’s image and standards.

·         Anything is possible attitude: Relishes the challenge of approaching new UHNWI outside their current network as much as mining their existing network.

Essential criteria

·         Previous international experience in Luxury Hotels Sales

·         College degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a related field.

·         Sales & Marketing experience with demonstrated track record of developing and leading a team within the hotel business.

·         Apply a commercial business approach toward sound decision-making.

·         High quality written and verbal communication skills are essential.

·         Meet tight timeframes without compromising accuracy.

·         Demonstrate initiative in problem solving, is receptive and open to new ideas,

·         and can adjust and respond accordingly.

·         Experience with database management systems.

·         Understands sustainability trends in hospitality industry.

·         Fluency in English – any other language is a bonus.
