RECRUITMENT & HR MANAGER – UHNW FAMILY OFFICE

A career-defining opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Recruitment and Human Resources Manager to join a UHNW Private Family Office in Central London. This is one of the most prestigious family offices in the world, which runs multiple private estates and offices at the highest level.

Your role will be assisting with all UK-based recruitment and HR matters for the family. You will be involved in the recruitment of both office and Household staff, and will ensure that all requirements are taken care of and all departments are running efficiently. A challenging and fast-paced environment, this is a demanding and high-pressured role, so and will suit a calm, focused, and dedicated professional.

Our client is open to considering candidates with Private PA experience who have had exposure to or are interested in recruitment and HR within Private households and family offices.

Usual office hours are from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, but the role will require a great deal of flexibility and a willingness to be on-call.

Duties to include:
Joining a close-knit team in their Central London office, you will help support the Director of Operations and the House Manager in the following areas:
• Management of complete recruitment and selection process
• Staff development, engagement, and motivation strategies to increase staff retention rates
• Implement and develop HR strategies to support the business and household
• Implement, oversee probation and performance appraisals
• Run weekly audits of compliance at the clients’ property, meet the team and be the main contact for HR in London
• Assistance with training needs, programs, and health & safety matters
• Management and employee relations in regard to grievance, disciplinary procedures, and legal compliance
• Ensure compliance with employment regulations and statutory requirements
• Pensions scheme management
• Audit/regular controls of absence/sickness levels
• Creation, implementation, and updating of the staff handbook
• Payroll management
• Maintaining the HR database and systems and the ongoing streamlining of current processes

Essential requirements:
• Prior experience working in an UHNW setting as a Private PA, Recruiter or HR Manager experience
• An interest and experience in HR and Recruitment
• Hardworking, resilient and confident
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels
• High attention to detail
• Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks and to work extra hours to meet deadlines
• Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues
• Readiness to travel when required
• Valid DBS & driving license
• Non-smoker
