HIGHLY EXPERIENCED PRIVATE PA – UHNWI NOTTING HILL

This is an amazing opportunity for a highly experienced and talented Private Personal Assistant to support an ultra-high net worth individual, based in Notting Hill. You will provide first-class support to ensure the smooth running of the principal’s and her family’s lives; pre-empting her needs and working proactively, you will be her go-to for all matters. The family are lovely employers and look after their staff very well, and are looking for a long-term commitment from their PA.

A varied position, you will oversee the management of the principal’s private life, and multiple properties (both in the UK and internationally) – this role requires a high level of discretion and a service-orientated approach. You will be hardworking, diligent, flexible, highly personable, and down to earth – excellent communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to build strong working relationships.

Predominantly working remotely from home, you will work roughly one day per week in the principal’s home in Notting Hill, but will be required to be on call to attend the property with short notice, so living locally in West London would be hugely advantageous. You will also need to driver and be happy to drive to the Oxfordshire property every couple of weeks (no need to have your own car as you will have use of the family car).

Although core hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm, there will regularly be work outside of these hours and at weekends, and you will be required to be on call.

duties to include:
• Diary management will be mainly for the private calendar but interaction with the Family Office and other PAs.
• Travel management - organising private jets, booking commercial flights, transfers, hotels and visas, and preparing detailed itineraries.
• Booking all personal family holidays and liaising with the family for preferences.
• Overseeing UK and international properties; liaising with household staff (housekeeper, driver, chef) and managing bills, contractors, security and alarms etc.
• Project management; assisting with purchasing fixtures and fittings
• Finances – managing any expenses and liaising with the finance team to ensure everything is in order.
• Liaison with personal business staff and Family Office departments such as HR and Finance.
• Liaison with schools and university on behalf of the children
• Organising and assisting with events; parties, dinners and larger functions: managing guest lists, invitations, catering etc.
• Correspondence management – email, post, phone calls.
• Personal shopping/gift purchasing.
• Run errands when required.

Required Criteria:
• Extensive prior Private PA experience is essential for this role
• Highest level of discretion and confidentiality.
• Fluent English - excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to be succinct and to the point.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build brilliant working relationships.
• Professional, loyal and hardworking.
• Strong organisational skills, common sense and an eye for detail are essential.
• Articulate and well-presented
• Calm with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Enthusiastic, positive and self-motivated.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise, be proactive and demonstrate self-initiative.
• A self-starter who will go above and beyond to get the job done.
• A team player who is willing to work collaboratively, as well as autonomously.
• Brilliant checkable references are an absolute must.
• Must be comfortable with the family dog. Some interaction will be required.
• Full driving licence essential.
