An ultra-high net worth family are looking to appoint a dedicated and hardworking live-in Housekeeper to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained across their 5-storey (5 bedroom/5 bathroom) Georgian townhouse in Kensington. This family of 6 (teenage children) are looking for a super-star housekeeper who will remain with them long-term – they are a lovely family to work for and their previous Housekeeper has been with them for many years

Responsible for daily cleaning of the property from top to bottom, with the assistance of a cleaner, you will ensure that the household is spotless at all times and that the family’s expectations are always met. You will also be responsible for wardrobe management for the family, all laundry and ironing, as well as packing and unpacking for trips. In addition, you will cook healthy and nutritious family meals, and follow family-favourite recipes.

A live-in role, you will have your own bedroom and bathroom within the property. You will work 5.5 days per week, 7am to 7pm (flexibility required) and have regular breaks and time off during the day. Occasional travel with the family may be required during the summer months. The family also have a dog so you must be pet-friendly.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Daily cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, hoovering, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management, including caring for fine fabrics
• Packing and unpacking for the principals
• Polishing silver and glassware
• Rubbish and recycling management
• Greeting guests and offering refreshments
• Cooking nutritious and healthy family meals
• Managing stocks of cleaning products
• Flower arranging
• Greeting tradespeople and contractors
• Ad-hoc duties as required

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior housekeeping experience in a high-end private household
• Fluency in English
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Hardworking and dedicated
• High attention to detail
• Flexibility with hours and duties
• Able to work independently with little supervision
• Able to work collaboratively with cleaning staff
• Trustworthy and reliable
• DBS checked or willingness to undertake one
• Excellent checkable references
