TEMPORARY HOUSEKEEPER REQUIRED FOR UHNW RESIDENCE
We are working with our clients to find experienced Housekeepers to work at their large, fully staffed penthouse apartment in Central London. The role is to start as soon as possible for a few weeks in late September, working as part of a large housekeeping team and large team of butlers. You should be a team player as well as someone who is familiar working in large teams and working long shifts.
You will be working in a shift pattern with other temporary Housekeepers as well as the family’s travelling staff, duties will include general housekeeping, laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, packing and unpacking suitcases and ensuring high standards of cleanliness are being met at all times.
The principals prefer candidates with a yachting background, though this is not an essential requirement. The ideal candidate will be energetic, willing to muck-in wherever needed, be positive and be able to hit the ground running.
A live-out role, this is a 6-day-per-week role with 10-hour shift patterns, both day shifts (5am-2pm, and 8am-5pm) and night shifts (12pm-12am, 1pm-10pm, 2pm-12am, 4pm-1am and 10pm-6am). Hot meals and beverages will be provided on-site and there is a fully equipped staff area where breaks can be taken throughout your shift. Candidates must be London based to ensure a fuss-free commute and a taxi home will be provided if you finish after 11pm (within London only).
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing beds and cleaning bathrooms
• Packing and unpacking suitcases
• General and deep housekeeping
• Laundry and ironing including delicates care
• Working collaboratively with other household staff to ensure the smooth running of the household
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior experience as a Housekeeper on yachts and/or private households
• A yachting background (ideally)
• Hardworking, loyal, and discreet
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• A good level of spoken English
• Flexible and adaptable
• High attention to detail
• Well-presented and articulate
• London based
• Excellent checkable references
