HOUSEHOLD MANAGER NEEDED IN SAUDI ARABIA

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $48,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Household Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a private residence just outside of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate will excel at managing staff, coordinating various tasks, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the household. This is a large household so you should be familiar with working and managing large teams. This role requires exceptional multitasking skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

You will be responsible for recruiting and training new staff members, managing staff schedules and arranging their travel arrangements, managing all shipments, deliveries and online orders, and maintaining a detailed household inventory. You will also ensure all staff contracts are up to date and compliant whilst monitoring staff holidays and booking proper coverage during peak times.

All financial management will be overseen by you, working closely with financial advisors to ensure financial stability and manage household expenses. You will also track the vehicle maintenance schedules as well as oversee the maintenance of the landscape, organising upkeep and repairs when needed.

We are looking for someone who is personable, has good communication skills, can speak English fluently and is also discreet, respectful and practical. Being a team player is imperative and prior experience in a similar role is a must.

Accommodation will be provided as a detached unit that has a bedroom and living room. The family are open to couples but individuals will be prioritized. All food, accommodation and transport will be included in your package as well as health benefits.
 

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

·         Recruit and train staff

·         Staff management – maintaining staff schedules, staff holidays and staff conflicts

·         Staff bookings and travel arrangements

·         Responsible for all deliveries/online orders

·         Maintaining an up-to-date household inventory

·         Track and manage household expenses

·         Vehicle management

·         Property and landscape maintenance


ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

·         Able to speak English fluently

·         Proven experience in household management or related field

·         Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

·         Proficiency in handling budgets and financial records

·         Ability to manage staff effectively and handle conflicts professionally

·         Familiarity with inventory management systems and online ordering platforms

·         Knowledge of basic accounting principles

·         Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

·         Knowledge of property maintenance and landscape management is a plus

·         Excellent checkable references
