AFTER SCHOOL NANNY/MANNY FOR UHNW FAMILY- LONDON
This family of five are looking to hire a hardworking and professional Manny/Nanny to look after their 11-year-old son after school during the week.
This role will include picking him up from school, dropping him off at friends and after-school activities, supervising his screen time and assisting with homework when he needs help. You will be experienced in providing healthy snacks, and will also be competent in providing suitable evening meals.
You will have confidence in looking after similar-aged children, and enjoy the busy schedule this encompasses. The ideal candidate will understand how to draw the boundary between being authoritative and friendly but you should also be fun, energetic, and warm as well as kind and caring. We are looking for a ‘big brotherly’ type of relationship, someone to look up to and go to for support.
Experience in childcare is highly desirable for this role as the client is looking to hire someone long-term. Proven longevity is a must-have! The family also have two dogs who will be cared for equally between you and the other housekeeper.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday afternoons, during term time, however, flexibility will be required as you may need to do some babysitting in the evenings and longer hours in school holidays- you will be compensated for overtime at £20.00 per hour.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Ad-hoc duties as required
• Meal-prep as and when needed
• Child care as and when needed
• Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the child to grow and thrive
• Be flexible with the varying daily schedule and become an asset to the family
• Be proactive in communicating with parents to ensure their needs are being met
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior housekeeping and childcare experience
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to get one
• Fluency in English
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Hardworking, flexible and dedicated
• High attention to detail
• Excellent checkable references
