PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER REQUIRED FOR LOVELY FAMILY
We are working with a lovely high net worth family of 5 in Belgravia, London to source a highly skilled, pro-active, and versatile part-time Housekeeper for their 6-bedroom property. The ideal candidate will be organised, able to use their initiative and plan ahead, managing their time effectively to ensure the smooth running of the household. The family have three children (16-year-old and 3-year-old twins) and two dogs, so they are looking for a child friendly and pet friendly Housekeeper who would be happy to work for them during 3 times a week.
There is currently a weekend Housekeeper and a full-time Nanny so good teamwork and communication is crucial in this role, you will ensure that very high standards of cleanliness are maintained across the property and will be responsible for all general and deep cleaning duties, laundry, and ironing, as well food preparation on occasion. You will need to have excellent knowledge of how to care for luxury furnishings, delicate fabrics, and high-end finishes such as marble, stone, and wood.
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to help wherever required. The family are lovely to work for and treat their staff exceptionally well, so they are looking for a personable Housekeeper who is able to interact with them and their children and is a pleasure to have around.
Usual working hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 8:30am to 6:30pm.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Daily cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
• Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management, including caring for fine fabrics
• Polishing silver, cleaning, and maintaining marbles, stones, and wood
• Managing grocery and cleaning product stock levels, ensuring sufficient levels are always maintained
• Food preparation and cooking
• Rubbish and recycling management
• Childcare as and when required
• Dog-walking and feeding
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior housekeeping experience in a high-end private household
• Fluency in English and eligibility to work in the UK
• Flexibility and ability to travel internationally on occasion
• Hardworking and dedicated
• Strong swimmer
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Proactive and organised
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Excellent checkable references
