This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head Housekeeper to support a high-profile ultra-high net worth individual in their West London property. As well as being very hands-on with housekeeping yourself, you will also be responsible for leading the small housekeeping and laundress team to ensure that the highest of standards are maintained at all times. It is paramount that everyone works collaboratively at all times and are working to ensure that the needs of the principal are always exceeded.

This is a very busy and demanding role that will require great flexibility with hours and days when the principal is in residence but will also allow for quieter times when he travels which is usually for 4-5 months of the year.

Prior experience in a large private household or as Chief Stewardess on a luxury yacht is essential for this role. This role is a live-out position and requires a full valid driving licence.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
- Daily housekeeping and cleaning of the property
- Laundry management
- Cleaning and turning over bedrooms
- Liaising with the Senior Butler to ensure both teams are working harmoniously
- Leading the housekeepers and laundry staff
- Creating rotas and schedules
- Assisting with wardrobe management
- Supporting the service team, table set up, service and clearing up at mealtimes
- Flexible approach to tasks and team support
- Flower arrangement
- Daily morning and evening house set up
- Shopping and stock management
- Overseeing the smooth running of the household in collaboration with the other teams

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Experience as a Head Housekeeper in a private property or as a Chief Stewardess on a superyacht
- Must have managed a small team before
- Hardworking with a ‘can-do’ positive attitude
- A strong multi-tasker
- London-based
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Excellent communication skills
- Great teamwork skills as well as the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent checkable references
