We are working with an amazing family to source a highly skilled and experienced full-time live-out Housekeeper for their large prestigious estate based in North East Somerset/Wiltshire. Joining an existing Head Housekeeper who has been in post for a number of years, you would work collaboratively as part of a team of 2 to ensure that very high standards of cleanliness are maintained across the property, and will also be responsible for laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management.

This is a busy informal family home with additional outbuildings, so requires a Housekeeper who is energetic, hardworking and has very high standards of cleaning – expert knowledge in care of fine fabrics, high-end furniture and art work are also essential.

Usual working hours are Monday to Friday (08:00hrs – 16:30hrs) with flexibility to move shifts to cover weekends if required. You must be a confident driver and have excellent checkable references.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
· Daily cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, hoovering, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
· Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management, including caring for fine fabrics
· Care of high end furniture and art work
· Packing and unpacking for the principals
· Polishing silver and glassware
· Rubbish and recycling management
· Greeting guests and offering refreshments
· Weekly grocery shopping
· Managing stocks of cleaning products
· Flower arranging
· Ad-hoc duties as required

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
· Prior housekeeping experience in a high-end private household
· Excellent knowledge of cleaning products and care of fine fabrics and furniture
· Fluency in English – spoken and written
· Eligibility to work in the UK
· Hardworking and dedicated
· High attention to detail
· Flexibility with hours and duties
· Able to work independently as well as part of a team
· Trustworthy and reliable
· DBS checked or willingness to undertake one
· Excellent checkable references
