LIVE-OUT ROTA NANNY FOR UHNW FAMILY IN LOS ANGELES

A lovely high-profile family based in Los Angeles are looking to recruit an experienced, active, and professional Rota Nanny to care for their pre-teen child, working on rotation with a second Nanny. Working on a week-on, week-off basis, the ideal candidate will have prior experience in a rota role, and good experience with older children, able to support the child as they grow older.

You will be a team-player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, and a willingness to muck in where required, as well as friendly, approachable, and loyal. The family are looking to appoint a reliable Rota Nanny who will remain with them for the foreseeable future and to also travel with them, both domestically and internationally.

A live-out role, flexibility will be required to ensure full availability when on rota. A full, clean US driving license is required in order to be considered for this role.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
• Driving the child to/from school and extracurricular activities
• Managing the child’s diary and arranging appointments, activities and any special events
• Working in collaboration with the parents to instil discipline and etiquette
• Assisting with homework and ensuring the child is prepped and ready for school/activities each day
• Working closely with additional staff and pitching in when required with tidying of the child’s area, packing and unpacking of their clothes etc.
• Preparing snacks and light meals for the child when required
• Offering the child consistency and security
• Travelling domestically and abroad with the family

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Private nanny experience working with high profile or UHNW clients
• Prior rota nanny experience
• Experience with pre-teen and teenage children
• Paediatric First Aid certificate
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English to a mother-tongue level
• Calm, organised and able to prioritise and multitask
• Flexible, ‘can do’ attitude with a good natured, approachable demeanour
• Professional, well-presented, and discreet
• Ability to travel internationally
• Valid police check or willingness to obtain a police check
• Based in LA with the right to live and work in the US
• Excellent checkable references
