FANTASTIC DAILY NANNY REQUIRED IN CENTRAL LONDON
A high-net-worth family based in Central London would like to appoint an experienced and dedicated Daily Nanny to look after their two young children (both under 8 years old). The Nanny will have proven experience caring for toddlers and primary-school-aged children, able to offer the children consistency and security.
Working as part of a staffed household, this role requires a professional Nanny with exceptional communication skills and a team player mentality, as well as an approachable, positive attitude. The Nanny will also be responsible for liaising with the schools/other parents and nannies to arrange play dates and extracurricular activities and will oversee homework for both children – having a background in education is highly desired, but not essential.
Usual working hours would be from Monday to Friday from 8am-8pm, with some flexibility required at times. The family tend to travel internationally during school holidays, and it would be ideal if the Nanny could travel with them when required. A driver is not required for this role.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Children’s diary (appointments, play dates etc.)
• Liaising with teachers, schools, other nannies, and parents
• Facilitating age-appropriate learning and educational activities
• Assisting with and overseeing homework
• Tidying up after the children
• Working collaboratively with the other household staff
• Occasional travel
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
• Prior private Nanny experience with primary-aged children
• Norland-trained or Montessori-trained, ideally
• Kind, caring and attentive
• Organised, exceptional communicator and excellent English
• Willingness to adapt to the parents’ way of doing things when required
• Approachable and flexible
• Well-mannered, well-presented and a pleasure to have around
• Good knowledge of nutrition
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally when required
• Excellent checkable references
