We are assisting a lovely family of 4 with the recruitment of a highly skilled and versatile Housekeeper for their 4-bedroom family home in Chiswick, London. The family have two children (aged 5 and 10) and are looking to appoint a self-directed, energetic, and proactive candidate to support them with the day-to-day running of their home.

An informal family home, the property has been finished to a high standard and will require a Housekeeper with an exceptional eye for detail and knowledge of how to care for delicate finishes. Duties will include cleaning and organisation of the household, laundry and ironing, liaising with contractors and service providers, placing online orders for household cleaning products and groceries, and running errands.

Mum is mostly at home and is very hands-on and involved with childcare, but would like to find a warm, kind, and caring Housekeeper who can assist with getting the children ready for school in the morning, and to help with the rush once the children are home from school mid-afternoon. Though Mum often cooks, you will also assist with dinner preparation and clean-up, and preparing snacks for the children.

The family are looking to appoint a self-directed, energetic, and proactive candidate who can take ownership of the role, and ensure the seamless running of the property, confident in their interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with external service providers. Working from Monday to Friday, the working hours will be from 7am-5pm. A Spanish-speaker is essential for this role.

GENERAL DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• General organisation of the household
• Daily cleaning and tidying including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
• Changing bed linen and making beds
• Managing stocks of cleaning products; placing grocery orders online and unpacking deliveries
• Laundry and ironing, including handwashing delicate items
• Rubbish and recycling management
• Liaising with service providers and greeting tradespeople and contractors
• Assisting mum with light childcare duties such as preparing snacks for the kids etc.
• Assisting with food preparation

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Exceptional attention to detail; knowledge of how to care for high-end finishes and surfaces
• Prior experience working within a private household
• Highly organised, proactive, and ability to work with little supervision
• Spanish speaker with good spoken and written English skills
• Child-friendly, loyal and trustworthy
• Tech savvy
• Right to live and work in the UK
