A high-net-worth family of three are looking to appoint a dedicated, proactive, and organised temporary part-time Housekeeper to cover the leave of their permanent housekeeper from early November to mid-December. Experienced and hard working, you will manage your time effectively and be responsible for all cleaning, laundry, and ironing, as well as ad-hoc errand running and grocery shopping.

The ideal candidate will have exacting standards, a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently without supervision. You will need to have excellent knowledge of cleaning products and know how to care for fine fabrics and finishes, as well as being a confident communicator, able to liaise with tradesmen and contractors when needed. There are no pets at the property.

Open to candidates who can either work 2 or 3 days per week, working hours will depend on which days the candidate is available to work. The hours will be 9am-4pm if working Monday, Wednesday and Friday, or 9am-5/6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays if the candidate is available only two days per week. The family are looking to hire someone on a self-employed basis.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Cleaning including dusting, hoovering, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
• General organisation and tidiness of the home
• Laundry and ironing, including managing dry cleaning drop offs/pick-ups
• Packing and unpacking luggage
• Managing cleaning supplies and stocks
• Occasional grocery shopping
• Liaising with and service providers where needed, receiving and unpacking deliveries etc.
• Watering plants and arranging flowers in common spaces
• Window cleaning
• Ad-hoc errand running

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior housekeeping experience in a high-end private household
• Fluency in English
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Hardworking and dedicated
• High attention to detail and meticulous in your work
• Able to work independently with little supervision
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Excellent checkable references
