Ideally suited to an experienced and thoughtful Housekeeper looking for just a few extra hours per week, we have a wonderful opportunity available in the Acton/Chiswick area in West London. Our clients travel frequently for work, and would like to appoint a proactive, reliable and trustworthy Housekeeper to come to their 2-bedroom apartment for a few hours on a Friday, just to spruce it up and to ensure it’s welcoming when they arrive home.

Generally, just a light clean will be required, with a deeper clean to be done once a month, but predominantly the Housekeeper will take on more of an organisational role in terms of receiving and unpacking groceries, ensuring that the fridge is stocked, picking up/dropping off dry cleaning and running some general errands. Managing the laundry will not be required, but on occasion there might be a few items of clothing to iron.

The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, be kind, warm and nurturing, as well as being a good communicator. The clients are really lovely and down to earth and would like to find someone who they can build a relationship with and could remain with them long-term – there are no pets or children at the property.

The role will be about 3 hours per week on a Friday – the clients are flexible as to whether this is in the morning or the afternoon.

GENERAL DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• General organisation & providing a warm, welcoming touch to the apartment
• Managing stocks of cleaning products
• Light cleaning & occasional deep cleans, especially the master bathroom
• Light ironing
• Receiving and unpacking groceries
• Greeting tradespeople and contractors
• Errand running such as dry-cleaning drop offs/pick ups
• Liaising with the clients on ad-hoc duties before they return e.g. taking food out of the freezer, heating a dish up before they arrive etc.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Exceptional attention to detail; knowledge of how to care for high-end finishes and surfaces
• Prior experience working within a private household
• Highly organised, proactive, and ability to work with little supervision
• Good spoken and written English and an exceptional communicator
• Thoughtful, warm and kind with a nurturing nature
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Right to live and work in the UK
