JUNIOR WARDROBE ASSISTANT & PERSONAL SHOPPER

A really exciting opportunity has become available for a junior Wardrobe Assistant/Personal Shopper to work for an UHNWI in their Central London home. Assisting the principal on a day-to-day basis with all of his wardrobe requirement, you will be in charge of managing the wardrobe and report to the principal directly, so requires an individual who is confident yet down-to-earth, friendly and personable, as well as methodical and organised.

With a passion for fashion and excellent interpersonal skills, you will be a team player who is able to work as part of the wider household team and liaise with the principal’s PA to ensure that you are aware of and prepared for any upcoming events and travel. Accompanying the principal locally and internationally to fashion shows, film festivals and other events, you be responsible for packing and unpacking luggage, and ensuring that the wardrobe is in order and ready at all times.

Additionally, you will be responsible for personal shopping and errand running for the principal, and coordinate all things related to his wardrobe, so the ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude and flexible approach, and the ability to take any changes in the daily routine or schedule in their stride. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate looking for their first role in the private sector and offers great scope for growth. Taking pride in your appearance, a discreet nature and the willingness and ability to travel as part of the role are essential requirements for this position.

A live-out role, core working hours will be Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm, but flexibility will be required to attend events and travel outside of these hours. A degree in fashion or formal qualifications are not required but would be a bonus.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Managing the principal’s wardrobe and assisting with any day-to-day wardrobe requirements or requests
• Care and storage of all items, ensuring all items are well maintained and ready for use
• Packing and unpacking of the principal’s luggage
• Accompanying the principal to events both locally and internationally
• Acquisition of new wardrobe items for the principal, personal shopping and errand running
• Liaising with the PA to stay abreast of any travel plans and upcoming events

• Eye for detail, observant and on top of the latest fashion trends and styles
• Highly organised and the ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Self-directed yet able to take direction where needed
• Friendly, down to earth, and personable
• Respectful, discreet, and highly organised
• Team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
• Fluency in spoken English and a brilliant communicator
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK + eligibility and willingness to travel internationally
• London based
• Excellent checkable references
