TRAVELLING WARDROBE MANAGER/STYLIST – LONDON

A fabulous opportunity has become available for a motivated, down-to-earth, and hands-on Wardrobe Manager/Stylist to work for an UHNWI in their London property. With a degree in fashion and relevant experience working for high-net-worth individuals in fast-paced and dynamic environments, you will hit the ground running and support the principal with all aspects of managing their extensive designer wardrobe, so brilliant organisational skills and an exceptional eye for detail are essential requirements for this role.

Styling looks for everyday wear, you will also assist the principal’s event stylist, ensuring that a flawless and inspired look is achieved. Approachable and professional, you will coordinate the glam team, work in close collaboration with the hairdressers and make-up artists, as well as the wider team to ensure the smooth running of events. Other duties will include working alongside the principal’s lady’s maid, assisting with personal shopping, general errand running and gifting when required, so a discreet team player with a can-do attitude is required.

Accompanying the principal locally and internationally, you be responsible for managing and actively participating in the packing and unpacking of luggage. Additionally, you will coordinate hotel room set-ups pre-arrival and foster strong relationships with the principal’s travel network to support the smooth running of all travel activities. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy and have strong administrative skills, as part of the duties include cataloguing and archiving wardrobe items, as well as managing the principal’s social media platforms.

A live-out role, working hours will be 48 hours per week, 5-6 days per week, with flexibility required to accommodate the principal’s schedule, and extensive travel will be required as part of the role. The successful candidate will be focused, dynamic and resourceful, as well as being assertive, well presented and boundaried. Sewing skills would be highly advantageous to assist with on-site sewing where needed.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Managing the principal’s extensive wardrobe, recording of all stock including cataloguing and archiving all wardrobe items
• Care and storage of all items, ensuring all items are well maintained and ready for use
• Putting everyday looks together and advising on the latest trends; assisting the event stylist with wardrobe preparation for large events
• Managing the glam team and working closely with them to ensure the best possible service is delivered
• Management of and hands-on assistance with packing/unpacking of the principal and family’s luggage; managing luggage manifests
• Accompanying the principal and family on trips locally and internationally
• Coordinate principal’s plans with all relevant team members at the destination; ensuring all necessary arrangements are made pre-check in according to specific preferences
• Assisting the principal’s lady’s maid and assisting with errand running, personal shopping and gift buying
• Managing social media platforms
• Keeping relationships with tailors and outsourcing more specialised work such as leather, embroidery, latex, and specialist repairs
• Performing onsite sewing and repairs for the principal (ideally)
• Assisting the PA with any appointment scheduling when needed

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Fashion degree and prior experience working for HNW clients in relevant fast-paced roles
• Eye for detail, observant and on top of the latest fashion trends and styles
• Tech-savvy and adept at social media management
• Ability to sew (ideally)
• Highly organised and the ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Self-directed, energetic, and discreet
• Respectful, assertive, and confident
• Team player with exceptional communication skills
• Fluency in spoken English and a brilliant communicator
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK + eligibility and willingness to travel extensively, including overseas
