ROTA SECURITY FOR LUXURY RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY
We have an exciting opportunity for a professional, highly organised and trained Security Officer with an eye for detail to join a prestigious team in the heart of Central London. Working on a 4 on/4 off pattern as part of team, you will provide a personalised service to the esteemed residents of a superbly designed private residential building with full luxury amenities, including a swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna and steam, treatment rooms, games room and private cinema.
You will be well versed in security operations, personal protection and self-defence techniques and be responsible for maintaining and monitoring all security aspects in and around the property, reporting to the Head of Security. Excellent communications skills, a professional appearance and a kind, empathetic, and charming personality are essential requirements for this role to ensure that the highest service standards are maintained.
Working in a 12-hour shift pattern on a 4-day-on/4-day off basis, this role can be undertaken either as a daytime role or nighttime role. Relevant experience within luxury residential and/or luxury hotel settings is required, and a valid driver’s license would be an added bonus but is not essential.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Ensure complete resident satisfaction, by providing a continuous sense of safety and security that meets the particular needs of the residents
• Ensure all information provided to residences and colleagues is accurate and updated as appropriate
• Man and secure all entrances or access points as required by policy and procedure
• Recognise, greet and farewell all residents in a friendly and warm manner using their names when known
• Deal with any resident queries and complaints in an efficient manner ensuring a positive outcome
• Give and receive handover information at the end of shifts, to ensure effective communication for the benefit of residences and colleagues
• Check daily and ensure the safety of all guest and pass keys, car keys and keys for operations
• Maintain and monitor security aspects and raise the alarm/call for assistance if required
• Check arrival and departure reports for all visitors to anticipate and satisfy needs
• Assist and monitor to ensure Concierge or Residents’ service software and data is protected, continually maintained and updated
• Report any defects in the building, plant or equipment according to procedures
• Monitor, record and take responsibility for all statutory fire training, and being fully conversant with and abide by all rules concerning fire and health and safety; knowing which actions to take in case of an emergency
• Conduct H&S checks as needed in the property (Panic alarms, First Aid equipment, PPE)
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Relevant essential accredited security training in security operations, personal protection and self-defence techniques
• Recent training in fire evacuation, artificial resuscitation, defibrillator, anti-terrorist, and active shooter procedures
• Relevant experience within the luxury residential/hotel sectors
• CCTV public space surveillance license, ideally
• SIA Door Supervisor (or higher) licence, ideally
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English
• Professional appearance and presentation with a positive attitude
• Quality driven with a passion for excellence; conscientious with great attention to detail
• Ability to deliver high standards of customer service which is personalised, confident and calm
• Able to commit to flexible working hours to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
• Ability to work as part of a dedicated and passionate team

• Significant, in-depth knowledge of London to assist both residents and colleagues
