We are assisting a lovely HNW family with the recruitment of an experienced, self-motivated, and organised Housekeeper to work on a part-time basis (20 hours weekly) in their family home in Richmond. Energetic and hard-working, you will manage your time effectively and be responsible for general cleaning, laundry and ironing, as well as the organisation and tidiness of the home.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in high-end luxury homes and have excellent knowledge of cleaning products, knowing how to care for fine fabrics and finishes, and have brilliant ironing skills. Other duties will include ensuring household and cleaning supplies are stocked and liaising with contractors and tradesmen when required. There are pets at the property, so it’s important that the Housekeeper has no allergies.

Working 4 hours per day from Monday to Friday, the family are ideally looking for a Housekeeper who can work from 9am-1pm, but for the right candidate, different working hours can be considered. The Housekeeper will be self-employed.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
• Laundry and ironing, wardrobe management
• Managing and receiving deliveries
• Ensuring household stocks and cleaning supplies are always at sufficient levels
• General organisation and tidiness of the home
• Watering plants
• Liaising with contractors and tradesmen
• Pet care

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior housekeeping experience in a high-end private household
• Fluency in English and good communication skills
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Hardworking, dedicated and efficient
• High attention to detail
• Able to work independently with little supervision
• Good time management skills
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Right to live and work in the UK
• Excellent checkable references
