PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER FOR HOME IN ISLINGTON

A really lovely client of ours is looking to appoint a dedicated, proactive, and organised Housekeeper to assist them in the smooth running of their 3-bedroom home in Islington, London. Experienced and hard working, you will manage your time effectively and be responsible for all cleaning, laundry, and ironing, as well as the general organisation and tidiness of the home.

Our client is looking for someone who has exacting standards, a keen eye for detail and can work independently without supervision. You will need to have excellent knowledge of cleaning products and know how to care for fine fabrics and finishes, as well as being a confident communicator, able to liaise with tradesmen and contractors when needed. There are no pets at the property.

Working two days per week (4 hours per day) the client can be flexible to accommodate the days the housekeeper can be available (no weekends). Though self-employed, the Housekeeper will be guaranteed payment every week of the year, whether the client is travelling or not, and statutory sick leave will be offered as well.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Cleaning including dusting, hoovering, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
• General organisation and tidiness of the home
• Laundry and ironing, including managing dry cleaning drop offs/pick-ups
• Managing and receiving deliveries
• Light cooking and provisioning, sourcing items on request (cooking is not a deal breaker)
• Watering plants and arranging flowers in common spaces

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior housekeeping experience in a high-end private household
• Fluency in English
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Hardworking and dedicated
• High attention to detail
• Able to work independently with little supervision
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Excellent checkable references
