We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly professional Lady’s Maid/Housekeeper to join a fully staffed busy home West Los Angeles. This is a fast-paced role where excellent organisational skills are required, as well as flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive nature. The ideal candidate will have proven longevity in a similar role and be a team player who can oversee and work closely alongside the housekeepers to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness.

An excellent communicator, you will liaise with management staff to train new and existing staff to ensure consistent and exceptional service for each service staff member, with a focus on other housekeeping staff. You will be switched on and pay close attention to detail, coordinating cleaning around the family’s movements and pay special attention to the organisation of the family’s items and areas, creating and implementing organisational systems.

Responsible for wardrobe management, you will ensure that the family’s closets are organised and that all clothing, shoes, bags, hats, jewelry, and other accessories are in good condition/not damaged, returned to the correct location and stored and presented correctly. Other duties will include daily inventory management of the family’s consumable items and ensuring that there is always sufficient levels of back up stock.

Working in a rotational shift pattern that changes on a weekly basis, you will either work the early, mid or late shift, including working over weekends when required, so flexibility is of essence for this role. Benefits include two weeks paid vacation per year and $475 per month toward a choice of various Blue Shield HMO / PPO plans.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Overseeing and working closely alongside housekeepers to continually provide detail level cleaning to all areas of the interior and exterior of the property
• Working closely with management staff to train new and existing staff to ensure consistent, exceptional service from each service staff member, with a focus on other housekeeping staff
• Paying special attention to the organisation of the family’s items and areas, creating new organisational systems where necessary
• Coordinating cleaning around the family’s movements to take advantage of even brief opportunities to provide service to areas of the household
• Wardrobe management; managing the family’s closets to make sure they are organised, all clothes are tidy and not damaged, in pairs or outfits where appropriate, pockets are empty and that all clothes have been returned to the correct closets
• Ensuring bags, shoes, jewelry, and other accessories are properly presented and protected
• Taking a daily inventory and checking the levels of the family’s consumable items, ensuring that there is an appropriate level of back stock

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience in a similar role for HNW or UHNW clients
• Hard working and dedicated team player
• Excellent knowledge of different fabrics and experience handling high-end garments
• Organised, meticulous and a strong eye for detail
• Energetic and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility and willingness to work early mornings and late evenings, as well as weekends
• Based locally within a commutable distance from the home in West Los Angeles
