We are assisting a Middle Eastern UHNWI with the recruitment of a professional, experienced, and discreet Temporary Housekeeper to work at their large, fully staffed Household in Mayfair. The role is to start on the 20th of April for 10 days, with the possibility of it being a bit longer, depending on the principal’s schedule.

Working alongside the existing housekeeping team and reporting to the Head Housekeeper, our client is searching for candidate with a team player mentality and a willingness to muck in where required. A positive attitude and an energetic approach are essential for this fast-paced role.

You will be a discreet, reliable and well-presented Housekeeper with outstanding housekeeping skills and an excellent eye for detail, as well as good laundry abilities (to cover for the Laundress of their day off). Working collaboratively with other household staff, you will ensure that all the family’s needs are met.

Working 6 days per week from 9am-8pm, flexibility will be required from time to time, and you will have Thursday as a day off. Hot meals and beverages will be provided on-site and there is a fully equipped staff area where breaks can be taken. Candidates must be London based to ensure a fuss-free commute. If you finish your shift after 9pm and would prefer to take a car home, the cost of an Uber or another recognised car company that is more cost effective than Uber will be reimbursed to you.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• General cleaning of living, bathroom, kitchen, and exterior areas
• Assisting the Chef with washing up duties
• Polishing service ware
• Laundry care, steaming and ironing clothing
• Ad-hoc housekeeping tasks, assisting the wider team where required

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior housekeeping/laundry experience in a high-end private household
• Fluency in English and the right to live and work in the UK
• Hardworking, dedicated and high attention to detail
• Able to work independently with little supervision
• Team player with a positive attitude
• London based
• Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet
• Excellent checkable references
