A wonderful opportunity has become available for an experienced, hardworking, and self-directed Housekeeper with a team player mentality to work for a HNW family in their 3-bedroom holiday home in Ibiza, Spain. Exceptionally organised and proactive, you will work collaboratively with another housekeeper to maintain the upkeep of this luxury property to exacting standards, ensuring that it is always guest-ready.

Jointly responsible for all housekeeping, laundry, and ironing, you will take pride in your work and ensure that all of these duties are completed to the highest standard, as well as ensuring that all guest amenities are stocked up. Additionally, you will also be required to run ad-hoc errands, provision for household cleaning supplies, and do grocery shopping when required.

The ideal candidate will be well-presented, professional and a great communicator and will ideally also speak Spanish, though this is not essential. The house is situated about 20 minutes outside of Ibiza town on top of a hill, so due to the location, being a driver with your own car is essential in order to be considered for this role.

Usual working hours will be 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday. The family visit the property a few times per year, usually staying about 2 weeks at a time, and would expect flexibility in terms of working hours and days when they are in residence.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
• Laundering clothing, fine fabrics, linens etc.
• Ironing, pressing, folding, and appropriately hanging/storing all items
• Preparing bedrooms for guest arrival, making beds, and changing bed linen
• Provisioning and taking stock of all household items
• Polishing antiques, marble, silverware, and crystal
• Liaising with contractors and ground staff to ensure the property is maintained at all times
• Taking care of any minor defects and repairs in and around the house
• Shopping for groceries, amenities, and cleaning supplies
• Ad-hoc errand running and driving duties

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Previous experience working in a private household
• Meticulous and very high attention to detail
• Well-presented, polished, and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Good standard of written and spoken English and any knowledge of Spanish is highly desired
• Confident driver with a valid driving license
• Longevity as demonstrated by previous employment
• Able to prioritise and multitask effectively
• Right to live and work in Spain
• Excellent checkable references
