WEEKEND NANNY REQUIRED FOR HNW FAMILY IN LONDON

A lovely family of four based in Central London are currently looking to appoint a live-in Nanny to cover weekends. Our clients are looking for an approachable and friendly candidate with a ‘can-do’ attitude and a passion for childcare to look after their two young children, both under the age of 13. An experienced childcare provider, you will have proven experience of looking after children of a similar age and have a warm, kind, and caring nature.

You will be creative and energetic, able to arrange fun, age-appropriate activities for them to keep them stimulated and active on the weekends. Providing homework assistance, you will have good knowledge of the British curriculum and also ideally have a background in education/teaching, though this is not essential. The ideal candidate will be a team player with brilliant organisational and communication skills, liaising with the parents and other staff members to ensure the family’s weekend runs smoothly.

Additionally, you will be able to prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children and be responsible for their bed and bath time routine. As part of the role, you will be expected to maintain the general tidiness and cleanliness of the children’s areas, living and dining areas, as well as making sure that their school uniforms, sports kits etc. are ready to go for Monday morning.

Starting around 8am on Saturday morning, you will work until 8pm on Sunday evening (sometimes finishing earlier) but flexibility might be required from time to time. You will be provided with a private en-suite bedroom in a separate annex of the home and have the use of a communal staff kitchenette. A driver is not required for this role and there are no pets at the property.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Arranging age-appropriate activities and accompanying the children on trips/outings
• Ensuring that their equipment, school uniforms, school bags etc. are sorted out and ready to go
• Liaising with parents and other household staff to ensure the day runs smoothly
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Tidying up after the children and ensuring the common areas of the house are neat and tidy
• Babysitting if the parents are out on Saturday evening

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior childcare experience in a private household
• Ideally a background in teaching (desired, but not essential)
• Trustworthy, reliable, and honest
• A clear communicator with excellent organisational skills
• Kind, caring and approachable
• Fluency in spoken English and eligibility to work in the UK
• Good team player, energetic, and discreet
• DBS check or willingness to obtain one
• Excellent checkable references
