LOVELY HOUSEKEEPER COOK FOR BEACONSFIELD HOME

We are assisting an UHNWI based in Beaconsfield with the recruitment of an experienced and meticulous Housekeeper/Cook to join their household team on a permanent basis. Working alongside the Head Housekeeper, duties will include all general and deep cleaning, laundry, and ironing, including the care of delicate fabrics. Exceptionally high standards are maintained in this luxury property, so the ideal candidate will have prior experience working for a UHNW family and have an excellent eye for detail.

The client is looking to appoint a dedicated, friendly, and hardworking individual with a “can-do” attitude, as well as the ability and willingness to prepare and cook family-style meals. No chef training or qualifications are required to fulfil this position, but the principal would like to find a housekeeper who enjoys the cooking aspect of the role.

Working 5 days per week on a rolling schedule with the flexibility to occasionally work a weekend depending on the principal’s schedule, core working hours are from 8am-5pm. Living within a commutable distance from the property, you must be a discreet and professional team player.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Hands-on housekeeping alongside the Head Housekeeper
• Ensuring standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness in all bedrooms, corridors, guest rooms, and all other areas are maintained to the highest level
• Cleaning accommodation areas, which includes changing bed linen, making beds, replacing towels, cleaning bathrooms thoroughly, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting
• Laundry of clothing - care and laundering of fine fabrics including cashmere, silks, bespoke suit materials, etc.
• Laundering of fine bed and table linens
• Ironing, pressing, folding, and appropriately hanging/storing all items
• Prepare rooms for guests’ arrival
• Preparing and cooking family style meals for the principal
• Reporting any household maintenance required to the Head Housekeeper
• Undertake additional duties from time to time within the responsibility level of the post

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior housekeeping experience in a high-end private household or bespoke hotel
• Ability and willingness to cook family-style meals
• Hardworking, dedicated and trustworthy
• Fluency in English and the eligibility to work in the UK
• Exceptional eye for detail
• Discreet, unobtrusive, and adaptable
• Able to work independently with little supervision whilst still being a good team player
• Live within a commutable distance for Beaconsfield
• Excellent checkable references
