AFTER SCHOOL NANNY/TUTOR FOR HNWI – LONDON

We have a fantastic opportunity for an organised and experienced Nanny/Tutor to assist a HNWI on a part-time basis with the care of their 7-year-old daughter. You will have a positive and professional demeanour and have a passion for childcare – ideally you will also have a teaching background or experience with tutoring children of a similar age.

Responsible for the afternoon school run and keeping the little girl safe, comfortable, and entertained, you will manage the child’s schedule, including arranging and supervising play dates and extracurricular activities, as well as preparing healthy snacks and a nutritious, well-balanced dinner for the girl. Responsible for all childcare duties, you will keep her bedroom organised, ensure that her clothes, equipment, school uniform, school bag etc. are sorted out and ready to go for the next day.

During term time, working hours will be from Monday to Thursday, from 3pm-7pm and ideally every second Friday, from 3pm-7pm. During school holidays the hours will be 8am-6pm Monday-Thursday and also the same every second Friday. There are no pets in the house and the role does not require a driver. The ideal candidate will be fun, energetic, creative, and engaging as well as kind and caring.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior Nanny experience with a private family
• Ideally a teaching background or experience as a Tutor/Governess
• Experience with primary-aged children
• Creative, fun, and energetic
• Kind, warm, and caring nature
• Highly organised and able to work efficiently
• Good cook, able to prepare nutritious meals and snacks
• Self-directed, but able to follow instruction when needed
• Patient, easy-going and happy to be flexible
• Excellent communication and administration skills
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• Valid DBS check and first aid trained
• Polished and professional
• Discreet, reliable and boundaried
• Excellent English – both spoken and written
• Brilliant checkable references
