We are assisting a really lovely HNW family based in West Oxfordshire with the recruitment of an experienced and hard-working Housekeeper to join their housekeeping team on a part-time, self-employed basis, predominantly providing the team with assistance over weekends.

Duties will include general cleaning of all areas of the home, including living and dining areas, kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms, including making beds and changing bed linen. With prior experience and excellent knowledge of how to care for luxury furnishings and the use of appropriate cleaning products, you will work alongside other housekeepers and also assist with laundry and ironing.

Providing assistance over the weekend as and when needed,  usual working hours are usually from 8am-5pm, but the family would also consider someone who is able to work mornings only, from 8am-1pm, for example. Ideally you will live within a commutable distance from the property and be a team player with a discreet, can-do attitude and be self-employed.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Cleaning accommodation areas, which includes changing bed linen, making beds, replacing towels, cleaning bathrooms thoroughly, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting
• General cleaning and tidying up of living and dining areas, as well as the kitchen
• Laundry and ironing, including handling fine fabrics
• Working collaboratively with other housekeepers to ensure the home runs smoothly

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior housekeeping experience in a high-end private household or bespoke hotel
• Fluency in English and the eligibility to work in the UK
• Exceptional eye for detail
• Discreet, unobtrusive, and adaptable
• Able to work independently with little supervision whilst still being a good team player
• Live within a commutable distance from Burford
• Excellent checkable references
