We are working with a lovely UHNWI to find an experienced, hard working and self-motivated House Manager for their large property in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. This is a busy home where high standards are expected, so you must be highly organised and switched on, yet adaptable and flexible enough to accommodate any last-minute changes in the family’s schedule.

Organising and overseeing contractors and maintenance works done internally, you will have an exceptional eye for detail and deal quickly and responsibly with any problems that may arise.

Liaising with and reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will be on hand to support the family in their day-to-day activities, making reservations, managing appointments, organising events, and assisting the Chef and housekeepers to facilitate the smooth running of the household. You will be a hands-on team player, doing daily checks of the property to ensure high standards are maintained at all times and be upbeat, friendly, and professional with a pleasant and welcoming disposition.

Working 5 days per week, core working hours are 8am-6pm (including some weekends) but flexibility will be required. Being a confident driver with your own car, a valid UK driving license, and living within a 10–15-minute drive from Henley-on-Thames are essential requirements for this role.

• Liaising with the PA to facilitate the smooth running of the principal’s day, managing appointments, making reservations, and travel organisation etc.
• Doing daily checks of the property to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards
• Being the first point of contact for all guests, meeting and greeting any visitors and ensuring that all their needs are met
• Errand running and ad-hoc driving duties
• On-call availability as required

• Ability to work autonomously with little direction
• A proactive self-starter with strong problem-solving capabilities
• A good all-rounder with common sense and an eye for detail
