A lovely high net worth family in St John’s Wood, London, are looking for a part-time housekeeper to assist them in the smooth running of their family home. The usual hours will be 3pm-8pm 4 or 5 days per week (flexible for the right candidate). This is a well-staffed busy family household, with 3 older children (aged 7, 10, and 13) and no pets - the role will require a variety of duties and responsibilities including general cleaning, extensive laundry, wardrobe management, grocery shopping and light cooking, and errand running.

The family are looking for a housekeeper who is hardworking with a keen eye for detail, able to work autonomously but also take direction – have a positive and happy demeanour, and able to build rapport with the principals and the children.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• General cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, hoovering, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
• Extensive laundry, ironing and wardrobe management, including caring for fine fabrics
• Packing and unpacking for the principals
• Cooking light meals / preparing snacks for the children
• Grocery shopping
• Managing stocks of cleaning products
• Flower arranging
• Occasional babysitting
• Ad-hoc duties as required

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Prior housekeeping experience in a high-end private household
• Good knowledge of cleaning products and able to care for high-end furnishings and fabrics
• Fluency in English
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Hardworking and dedicated
• High attention to detail
• Flexibility with hours and duties
• Able to work independently with little supervision
• Trustworthy and reliable
• DBS checked or willingness to undertake one
• Excellent checkable references
